While at Harding University, one assignment was to experiment with css and create something very unique and out of the box. Similar to old video games, I used CSS to create a Night Sky scene across the top of the header using three div tags. When the browser window size changes the stars, and clouds move. They drift in parallax fashion and show or hide the full moon among the clouds.
Want to see it in action? I dont blame you.
The page is available at http://taylordurham.com/projects/nightsky/ Change your browser window size and notice the parallax effect!
WARNING:
This example is heavily based on transparent PNG files and are not friendly with most IE browsers, Sorry Folks. I would recommend that you use browsers that can handle transparent PNG files.
